Fully rigged 14′ self bailing raft.

Posted by admin on Jan 29 2009 | River Outfitting Equipment

Hello desert boaters!  The Salt River is running and Ceiba has your Salt River Rentals. Our 14′ self bailing rafts are perfect for the Salt River, outside of Globe, Arizona. They come fully rigged with straps, cooler, table, oars, throw bag, and a rear net for gear if necessary.  These boats are also perfect for paddle boats. We include paddles, helmets, and the very useful thwart bags, which holds all your schnadle items.

Our inflatable kayaks are perfect additions to any trip, and in the Salt they are really fun. With the short season of the Salt be sure to contact us early if you get a permit, or invited on the very unique desert river trip.

Safe Boating from Ceiba and we look forward to hearing from you!!  1-800-217-1060 or please visit our Row & Paddle page for more information about boats and rentals!

San Juan River Raft Rentals

Posted by admin on Jan 14 2009 | River Outfitting Equipment

Ceiba Adventures is proud to be a major supporter of Grand Canyon Youth. It is a non-profit organization that caters to etting youth on river trips. They are middle school and high school kids, that have to do class programs to get the okay to go on a river trip. They are on the lower Grand Canyon, a few entire Grand Canyon trips, as well as the San Juan River in southern Utah.  If your children, school class, or you know of anyone interested in this great opportunity please contact GCY at:
www.gcyouth.org or 928-773-7921.

Speaking of the San Juan River, we have been outfitting more and more private trips on the San Juan. It is a great family trip, a perfect introductory trip to river running, with awesome archaeological sites, nice camping, and incredible scenery in the desert  southwest.  Both our 14′ and 18′ boats are perfect for the several optional stretches available. Ceiba has everything available for your entire group, including tents, sleep kits, full kitchens and river bags too.

So we’re recommending groups to get in their reservations early and all of us here at Ceiba are ready to assist you with the perfect river vacation, on the San Juan river!!

We look forward to hearing from you and happy boating!

Ceiba International Adventure Travel Trips to Latin America

Posted by admin on Jan 12 2009 | Adventure Travel

Dear Fellow boaters & adventures,

This entry into the blog site is making sure that you all know about Ceiba International. CI is our company That runs and orchestrates all our adventure travel trips into Latin America. The River of Ruins Maya tour is still a Ceiba exclusive, and we visit 9 Mayan sites in 9 days. We originally put this itinerary together for an archaeologist and a group of his friends, and it turned out so well, that we decided to offer up as a regularly scheduled tour.

We still have openings on our upcoming February 13th 2009 departure if anyone has any interest. We commonly do custom trips for private groups and our families. Upcoming this summer we have a unique itinerary that is open to everyone, that will feature most of the Maya sites in the Peten of Guatemala, and also the major sites in western Belize. Please feel free to contact  us for further details about this special tour.

Thank you everybody for your past support, you’ve supported us in the past and we look forward to seeing you again in the coming years.  Have a great 2009, and please feel free to contact Ceiba International, LLC and Ceiba Adventures, Inc. with any questions.

Sincerely,

Scott Davis
