Update on the Shultz Fire
Quick update on the Shultz Fire – As of 7 am this morning it has grown to 14,300 acres since Sunday 06/20. There are 961 firefighters working on it and it is only 25% contained. The expected containment date is July 2nd. Check out these websites for more info: http://www.inciweb.org/incident/1996/

Grand Canyon motor season is in full swing and Ceiba has 15 and 30 horsepower Honda outboard motors available. Don’t have time to do the whole Canyon? Go upsteam at Lee’s Ferry or Diamond
Creek down to South Cove. Even though there’s current all the way to Pearce Ferry, we still suggest renting a motor for the Diamond Down section – gives you a ton more time to hike and explore the Western Grand Canyon!
