Happy Monsoon Season!

Posted by admin on Jul 28 2010 | Uncategorized

Yes, it is upon us & around the northeast part of Flagstaff we are having extreme flash flood alerts. This is due to the Schultz Fire and the erosion that is happening because of the lost trees & vegetation, and also because of the large amounts of ash that have replaced absorbent ground cover.
Anywhere on the Colorado Plateau please be aware of the danger of flash floods – hike & explore with caution. Have fun out there and keep all of Ceiba’s services in mind!

Grand Canyon Update

Posted by admin on Jul 13 2010 | Uncategorized

Hey Ya’ll, here’s a Grand Canyon update: Diamond Creek and Pearce Ferry Road are both in great condition. The ramp and the 14 day lot up at Lee’s Ferry have both finally been resurfaced and are open for business. If you haven’t heard, the September and October flows in the Canyon are going to be a steady 8000 CFS. Thanks for all your past support and we look forward to seeing you all real soon!
