Packing food and ice for any long river trip is
a science. Ceiba will provide  your
trip with wholesome, tasty food in plentiful quantities.
Our menu can easily accommodate vegetarians, those
with dietary needs or allergies, special occasions
such as birthdays, or any other requests. Whether
we pack your food into Ceiba’s coolers and
boxes or utilize your own, we will make it all fit
and stay as fresh as possible!

Your Menu
You choose from our meal options, (breakfast, lunch
and dinner) to make a custom menu for your trip.
You will pick from a variety of hot and cold breakfasts,
deli lunches, grilled dinners and Dutch oven cooking.
You always have the option to choose meals that
are quick and easy, to minimize time in the kitchen
and maximize time to hike and play. Whether you
want one-pot meals every night or the complete variety
package, we will work with you to tailor the menu
to your desires. And if you absolutely have to have
Grandma’s casserole on Night 4 we can easily
add it in.
We always include the necessary staples and condiments
to prepare your meals, a full snacks box, separate
daily lunch box, spice kit, plenty of fresh fruit
and tasty veggies, and an assortment of coffee,
tea, juice, and drink mixes. We use organic shade
grown coffee, a local custom butcher for your meat,
and we buy your fruits and veggies from our local
farmer’s market.

How We Pack Your Food
Dry goods are organized in 20mm boxes by day; each
day box contains each camp’s hors d’oeuvres
& dinner and the next day’s breakfast
and resupply lunch items. The day box becomes that
camp’s trash receptacle.
We typically arrange the coolers according to meat,
dairy, produce, lunch, and a 5th cooler for your
Day 1-4 items. We use only high quality solid block
ice that, when coupled with our Icee Kool coolers,
ensures your trip has the best in ice preservation
technology!
Ceiba Food
Pack Price: $585
Includes planning your menu, complete
food shop, and packing all boxes and coolers.
Food &
Sundries Price
You pay only the
actual cost of your food and sundries. Sundries
include non-food items such as paper towels, dishwashing
supplies, charcoal, hand soap, trash bags, etc.
Average price for food & sundries is $16/person/day.
Coolers and food boxes are not included in your
food package price.
Ice
Ice: we have great quality, 11 pound, solid
blocked ice for sale. Currently the price is $2.00
per block. Please feel free to contact us for all
you ice needs.
If you use Ceiba’s food
pack service, you can dispose of & recycle your
trip trash for free. If not, there is a $40 fee
for trash disposal & recycling.
