Motor Boats
All our motor rigs are state-of-the-art boats that commercial
and science trips are currently running. We are the
exclusive rental provider for motor rigs in Grand Canyon.
Ceiba removes the hassle and back-breaking physical
work that rigging and de-rigging a motor boat often
demand. All our motor boats are fully rigged and trailered
to and from every river trip.
Shuttle costs are in addition to rental prices.
A qualified motor boatman is mandatory for renting any
motor boats!
37’ “S”
Rig

The S-rigs are a very proven motor craft
design in Grand Canyon. Most of the commercial outfitters
are running the S-rig, which all have slightly different
frames and box technology. Ceiba’s S-rig's are
totally adaptable to carry your party of 16, or rigged
as an equipment hauler. They are an excellent boat to
support paddle boats, a gaggle of kayakers, or family/friends
that want a safer ride. Ice – not a problem on
the 37 ft! Nor is rigging or de-rigging the necessary
camp gear on a daily basis – it happens fast.

The 22’ Snout rig is an incredibly
versatile motor boat. It is built on two 22’ pontoons
with an aluminum frame in the center. Eight people is
the NPS maximum on this boat. And it is a fun boat to
drive! The snout can carry everything for your river
trip if it is rigged properly. The ability to carry
extra ice, play boats, all the waste off the trip, and
maximum amounts of beverage make this boat a huge addition

your private party, then you ought to consider the snout
boat as a viable option for your river vacation.
